LLSC Presents: Cancer Treatment: How to Make Choices about Standard Care and Clinical Trials

Please join Jill Clark, Registered Nurse with the Clinical Trials Unit at the L/BMT Program of BC as she presents on of importantce of Clinical Trials in Blood Cancers Research. This free educational event will share information on how to make informed choices about standard care and clinical trials. In this program you will learn how to gather information to help make informed treatment decisions, and to learn about the benefits and risks of standard treatments as well as clinical trial treatments. You will learn how new blood cancer treatments are developed and approved, and sort out the myths from the facts about clinical trials. More . . .

Open to adults with any type of cancer diagnosis, their family members and supporters. Registration required.
